Delegates from across the education spectrum will be descending on Euston Square on 29 June, as EdExec Live returns to London. The event, run by Education Executive magazine, aims to provide school business managers and bursars with an insightful and valuable interactive experience; with information that can actually be used and applied when back at school.

Each item and speaker on the fast-paced agenda has been chosen carefully, and will resonate with attendees. These cover case studies, seminars and networking opportunities, not to mention the chance to speak with specially selected education service providers, which includes Parago and our School Inventory Management and Academy Asset Management software.

What can you expect?

Setting the tone of this year’s conference is a keynote panel of experts who are going to address the big issue of inequality in SMB pay scales and what can be done about it. With a wealth of experience, they’ll offer advice and be on hand to answer your questions.

Following the keynote will be a variety of activities, which cover academies, personal development and training, and much more. If trying to reduce your carbon footprint is of importance, then you’ll be interested in the seminar given by Dr Morgan Phillips and Alex Green on saving energy and money.

Another seminar which will no doubt both appeal and strike fear into the hearts of many, is Martin Owen’s ‘Ofsted 101: Preparing for inspection’. He’ll explain how you can turn the usual upheaval and panic into an opportunity to showcase your talented team and your hard work. According to Martin, this ‘doesn’t have to be a stressful experience’ – one not to be missed, indeed.

Parago at EdExec

As a trusted service provider and a key sponsor of EdExec, Parago is thrilled not only to have a stand at the event, but to have been chosen to speak about our experience and successes in helping schools to better manage their assets and save money. Combining an interactive demonstration of our asset management software, we will be sharing how the Gipsy Hill School Federation achieved time and financial savings through implementing our asset, contract and facilities management solutions. Staff from the school will be in attendance to answer any questions. It should make for an extremely riveting seminar. We’ll be speaking at 10:15 and 12:40, so do pop along.

How the day will run

Although the precise schedule is still being finalised, registration will begin at 8:30am and the keynote debate will kick off at 9:15am (after the official welcome). With time for four seminars during the day, delegates will be able to choose their own programme. Networking drinks will commence at 4:15pm, ending at 5:00pm.

It is hoped that all attendees will gain some beneficial, helpful, practical advice – with new contacts to call on and innovations to implement which could really make a positive difference to the day to day running of their school.

More information about the day and the speakers can be found at the EdExec site.
